Business Checks/ LLCs require a bit more clarification. Please read, below:
LLCs without a corporate tax status may contribute to Lopez for Lee’s Summit if the LLC has been in existence for at least one year and is registered with the Missouri Ethics Commission prior to making a contribution.
NOTE: Lopez for Lee’s Summit is prohibited from accepting corporate contributions.
If a business entity does not meet the above requirements, it is permitted to make a contribution to a Political Action Committee.
